The Most Comprehensive Cookbook
Unless you are one who can step into the kitchen and just, “POW,” have a masterpiece (and if you are, I applaud you and am so jealous!), you must be like me and desire great places to find good recipes.I was thinking back to which cookbooks have been those staples, those “must haves” in my kitchen. In the end, I really came down to two significant ones I would recommend:
1) America’s Test Kitchen has an amazing Family Cookbook. This book features tried-and-true recipes that do more than simply give you the step-by-step guide. They do the research. When man methods are considered standard for recipes, they do the “dirty work” and figure out which is the tried-and-true best method. It’s amazing what interesting cooking tips I’ve learned by simply cooking dinner! If you take my advice and use this cookbook, I would recommend trying the Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe!
2) Next, I think the one that has been my go-to throughout my life is the “Oldie but a Goodie” cookbook from Betty Crocker It features the American recipes that we all have grown to love, given to us in the most simple way. Check it out!
